Perisher
Perisher (formerly Perisher Blue ) is a winter sports area in the Snowy Mountains , a mountain range in New South Wales , Australia . It is located close to Mount Kosciuszko , the highest mountain in Australia, and belongs to the Snowy River Shire administrative area .
Perisher is the amalgamation of the ski areas of Perisher Valley , Blue Cow , Guthega and Smiggin Holes . Under the name Skitube , a cog railway operates in the ski area of Perisher Valley and Blue Cow.
