Blue Cow is a ski resort with a holiday village that only operates in winter. The ski area is located in the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales , Australia , in the Snowy River Shire . It is located in Kosciuszko National Park and is operated by the New South Wales Department of Environment and Climate Change .

The Blue Cow ski area is at the top of Blue Cow Mountain and has nine ski lifts. In winter the area can only be reached with the Skitube in a 2.6 kilometer long tunnel, the Blue Cow Tunnel , and in summer only with all-wheel drive vehicles. The Skitube's rail link opened in 1987 to Perisher Valley , and a year later to Blue Cow. The railway company also takes on the logistics of the restaurant there.

The Blue Cow Resort is one of the four villages of the Perisher Resort.
