Petar Jovanović (born July 12, 1982 in Tuzla , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player . He has been under contract with FK Čukarički since the beginning of 2017 .

Career

After various positions at lower-class Serbian clubs, Jovanović came to FC Vaslui in the Romanian Divizia A in summer 2005 . With the promoted team he secured relegation in the 2005/06 season. In the following season he was used less often and was loaned to OFK Mladenovac . After his return in the summer of 2007 he was used more frequently in Vaslui. In the second half of 2008/09 he was loaned to Politehnica Iași , with whom he had to relegate .

After the runner-up in 2012 , Jovanović left Vaslui and moved within League 1 to CSMS Iași . The club loaned it to FK Jedinstvo Putevi in Serbia for six months in early 2013 . In the summer of 2013, the Serbian club FK Radnički Niš signed him before he moved to Universitatea Cluj a year later . There he had to relegate at the end of the 2014/15 season . At the same time he reached the Romanian Cup final with his team , but lost there to Steaua Bucharest . Jovanović returned to Serbia and was hired by FK Voždovac . He played with the club in the midfield of the SuperLiga in the 2015/16 season . At the beginning of 2016, he joined the relegation-threatened league competitor FK Rad Belgrade , with whom he was able to secure remaining in the class at the end of the season. He stayed with FK Rad until the end of 2016 before returning to FK Čukarički in early 2017 .
