Peter Bader (* 1970s) is a German church musician ( organist ), harpsichordist and choir director .

In 1997 Bader won first prize in the “Jugend musiziert” competition for piano accompaniment. After taking private organ lessons, he studied first at the conservatory, then at the Nuremberg-Augsburg University of Music, the subjects of church music B and music teacher, including organ with Karl Maureen , improvisation with Johannes Mayr and choral conducting with Alfons Brandl . In 2001 he completed his studies with the diploma exams. In 2002 he received the artistic diploma in the subject organ. In 2004 Peter Bader passed the exams for the postgraduate course in church music A and the master class diploma in the main subject organ. He attended interpretation courses with Ewald Kooiman , Stefan Engels , Jean-Claude Zehnder , Klemens Schnorr and Harald Vogel .

Even during his studies Bader worked as a piano or organ accompanist for various soloists and was awarded several music prizes, around 2000 at the organ competition for early music in Füssen and in 2004 at the “Nürnberger Nachrichten competition”. That same year, he was accepted into the sponsorship of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now .

From 2001 to 2006 Peter Bader was a full-time church musician at the Herz Jesu Church in Augsburg-Pfersee . In September 2006 he took up the church music position at the St. Ulrich and Afra basilica in Augsburg. Since 2004 he has been teaching choir conducting at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences .

Together with the guitarist Perry Schack , Bader plays the harpsichord as "Duo Fandango".
