Peter Bebb

Peter "Pete" Bebb (* Loggerheads, Market Drayton, Shropshire , England ) is a special effects artist who won an Oscar in 2011 for the film Inception .

Life

Bebb went to Madeley High School in Madeley and trained in arts and design at Newcastle College . He then studied computer design at the University of Wolverhampton and Staffordshire University . After graduating, Peter Bebb moved to London and was employed by the British visual effects company Double Negative , for which he worked as an intern for the film Pitch Black - Planet of Darkness . He was already working as a special effects artist on his next film, Family Klumps and the Crazy Professor .

In the years that followed, films such as Duel - Enemy at the Gates , Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life , Riddick - Chronicles of a Warrior and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire followed . In 2010 he was effects for the management of the visual in the US science fiction - Heist movie Inception responsible for which he along with Paul Franklin , Chris Corbould and Andrew Lockley won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
