Peter Cwielag

Peter Cwielag (born May 9, 1951 in Hainichen ) is a German actor and theater director .

Life

From 1970 to 1974 Peter Cwielag graduated from the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and made his debut in 1974 at the Stralsund Theater , of which he was a member until 1978. Further stations in his theater career were Dresden, Magdeburg and Schwerin until 1986, and since then Cwielag has been working as a freelancer. In addition to play contracts in Berlin, Hamburg and at the Lüneburg Theater , where he also directed, he was also often seen on open-air stages, for example at the Jagsthausen Castle Festival , the Rathen Rock Stage or the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek on Rügen. In 2011, Cwielag took over at the Schwerin Castle FestivalAt short notice for his colleague Peter Sodann the speaking role of the hunter Samiel in Carl Maria von Weber's opera Der Freischütz .
