Peter Dammann (* 6. January 1944 in Bielefeld , † 19 July 2009 ibid ) was a German football player .

Career

Dammann began his career in the youth of Arminia Bielefeld and won the West German championship with the juniors in 1961. A year later he made his debut in Arminia's first team, which had just been promoted to II. Division West and qualified in 1963 for the newly created Regionalliga West . Together with Bernd Kirchner , Dammann was one of the drivers in the Bielefeld offensive game. In 1970 Dammann was runner-up with Arminia and made the leap into the Bundesliga in the following round of promotion . Dammann then moved to 1. FC Paderborn , where he let his career end.

Peter Dammann played 105 regional league games for Arminia and scored 30 goals. There are also 18 games and eight goals in the 2nd Division West. After his career, Dammann worked as a forwarding agent and died in 2009.
