Peter Hankinson (born November 24, 1967 in Edina , Minnesota ) is a former American ice hockey player who was active during his active career for the Moncton Hawks in the American Hockey League .

Career

Peter Hankinson began his active career in the ice hockey team of the University of Minnesota , for which he was active in the National Collegiate Athletic Association from 1986 to 1990 and scored 182 scorer points for the team in a total of 176 games . During this time he was selected in the NHL Supplemental Draft 1989 in the first round in a total of fourth position by the Winnipeg Jets from the National Hockey League . However, Hankinson never played a game for the Winnipeg Jets and in the National Hockey League during his career.

The attacker spent the 1991/92 season with the Moncton Hawks in the American Hockey League , recording a total of 16 points in 51 games. In the same season he was also in action for the Fort Wayne Komets in the International Hockey League . The following season, Hankinson was active exclusively for the Komets in the IHL and scored 67 points in 82 games. The attacker also spent most of the 1993/94 season with the Fort Wayne Komets and also played 25 games for the San Diego Gulls , in which he scored 14 points. After that, Hankinson ended his active career.
