Peter Harlander

Peter Harlander (born March 24, 1974 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian lawyer , registered mediator , IT expert and politician in Salzburg. He is a member of the ÖVP .

education

Peter Harlander completed his training in his hometown of Salzburg . He attended the elementary school Nonntal and the modern language grammar school, which Harlander graduated with the Matura in 1992 . Then began studying law at the University of Salzburg , where he received his Mag. Iur. sponded . IT expert

From 2000 to 2006, Harlander ran the Salzburg legal IT company / advertising agency harlander ITM. Harlander was the organizer of the annual eday of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce (an event on various IT topics with around 15 speakers and 400 participants) and co-organizer of the annual UBIT Future Forum (a panel discussion on generally relevant future topics from the areas of IT and management consulting).

From 2011 to 2014 he was regional chairman of the Young Business Association Salzburg.

Current functions

Since 2010 he has been a member of the Salzburg City District Committee of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce.

Harlander has been organizing the Salzburg traffic jam in Salzburg since 2011 , which is sometimes criticized by the media as "polarizing".

Harlander and Ferdinand Wegscheider have been leading the Movement Against Tempo 80 since 2013 .

In 2014 Harlander is a candidate for the Salzburg municipal council.

In 2007 Peter Harlander took part in the Ars Electronica Festival as an artist . Harlander presented the project Trans Reality Video Phone Booth - a discarded telephone booth from Telekom Austria, which Harlander had rebuilt in such a way that video conferences between real people and avatars of the virtual world Second Life were possible. In addition, Harlander was a podium guest at the Standard's Monday discussion in his capacity as an IT legal expert as part of the festival .
