Peter Hauser (born February 8, 1943 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss lawyer and student historian .

Life

Hauser completed his Matura in Winterthur and studied law at the University of Zurich and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He is a member of the Corps Cisaria (1967) and founding philistine of Tigurinia II (2007). In Zurich he received his doctorate as Dr. iur. utr.

After a long internship at the District Court of Winterthur , he passed the bar exam. In 1975 he joined his father's law firm that his grandfather had founded in 1904. He became a partner in 1979 and owner in 2003. He is married to Sandra geb. Lienhard, daughter of the sculptor Robert Lienhard . As a family tradition, he served in the artillery of the Swiss Army . Most recently he was Colonel and Artillery Chief of Zurich Field Division 6 .

He is the archivist of the (high school) secondary school association Vitodurania . His specialty as a student historian is the history of the duel , the scale and the drum doctor system .
