Peter Hofmann (born March 31, 1974 in Lauchhammer , GDR ) is a former German ice hockey player who was under contract with the Adendorfer EC from 1996 to 2013 . As a striker, he played on both the center and wing positions. His brother Matthias is also an ice hockey player at the Adendorfer EC.
Career
Hofmann played in the 1994/95 season for the ice hockey team Füchse Sachsen Weißwasser / Chemnitz in the German Ice Hockey League .
After only one season in the following year at EHC Trier , he left the insolvent club and switched to Adendorfer EC, to which he remained loyal until the end of his career. With his club he went through all the ups and downs of the club, from the second to the fifth German league and back to the third highest German ice hockey league .
Hofmann is currently in 2nd place in the Adendorfer EC's all-time best list.
