Peter Kruse (born January 30, 1955 in Osnabrück ; † June 1, 2015 ) was a German psychologist and taught as an honorary professor for general and organizational psychology at the University of Bremen .

Life

From 1979 to 1980 and from 1981 to 1982 he received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation. In 2001 Kruse was appointed honorary professor by the Senator for Education and Science of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
He dealt with order formation processes in the human brain. His research moved at the interface between neurophysiology and experimental psychology . He combined the principles of self-organization and constructivism with the tradition of Gestalt theory .

Kruse has been working as a management consultant since 1995 . In 2001 he founded nextpractice GmbH , which specializes in the strategic and practical support of cultural change as well as trend and future research. Kruse's consulting approach transfers the findings of recent brain research and the theory of dynamic systems to corporate processes. Kruse was an idea generator and co-developer of various computer-aided management tools for the innovative handling of complexity and networking. This is essentially a further development of the repertory grid technique by the American psychologist George A. Kelly . This makes it possible to make qualitative assessments of several hundred respondents quantitatively comparable by solving the semantics problem. Kruse is the author of numerous papers on cognitive psychology, the theory of dynamic systems, constructivism and management theory .

Together with non-governmental organizations such as the Global Marshall Plan Initiative , the Bertelsmann Foundation , the Institute for Intercultural and International Studies (InIIS), the Eco-Social Forum Europe and the like. a. he dealt intensively with new approaches to participation in political decision-making processes.
