Peter Parten

Peter Parten (born January 29, 1938 in Bremen ) is a German actor .

Live and act

After graduating from high school at the end of the 1950s, Parten received artistic training at the Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and began his stage career in 1959 at the Westphalian State Theater in Castrop-Rauxel . In the early 1960s, he also appeared as an actor in front of film cameras. At a young age, Parten was mostly given the roles of student sonnyboys and appeared alongside stars such as Heinz Rühmann , Nadja Tiller , Lilli Palmer and Hildegard Knef . From the mid-1960s, television offers were also added.

Parten, who made his English-language film debut in a trash film by Radley Metzger in 1964, received a small supporting role in the legendary racing driver film Le Mans with Steve McQueen in 1970 . In the mid-1970s, Peter Parten completely withdrew from working in front of the camera. Parten also worked as a pop composer and was also seen as a musical performer.
