Peter Riepert
Peter Riepert (born July 13, 1874 in Cologne , † June 23, 1939 in Tutzing ) was a German engineer and ministerial official.
Life
Riepert studied at the TH Munich . In 1894 he became a member of the Corps Brunsviga Munich . In 1902, after the state examination, he was hired as a government master builder in the Prussian Ministry for Public Works . In 1904 he was with the government in Poznan . In 1911 he went - like many of his corps brothers - into the cement industry. In 1914 he became a Dr.-Ing. At the Technical University of Charlottenburg . PhD . In the same year he became section head of the Central Committee of the German Red Cross . He became a board member of the German Cement Federation and a member of the presidency and board of the Reich Association of German Industry . From 1920 to 1933 he was a member of the association's board of directors. He was a member of the Imperial Coal Council .
He called his house in Tutzing (Höhenweg 160) "Haus Braunschweig". He resigned from his corps on May 27, 1933 and tried in vain to be resumed in 1935/36. He also had a second home in Wiesbaden .
