Peter Sager (journalist)

Peter Sager (* 1945 in Sielbeck am Ukleisee ) is a German journalist who is best known for his art travel guides about Great Britain .

Life

Sager attended the Aloisiuskolleg in Bad Godesberg from 1955 to 1964 and then studied art history and German in Bonn . After receiving his doctorate on the poetry of Nelly Sachs (Bonn 1970), he worked as an art critic and radio editor in Cologne. From 1975 to 1999 he was a reporter for the time . In 1989 he was awarded the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for his work Tanja Ballerina On the Everyday Life of Schoolgirls at the oldest ballet school in Russia .

Peter Sager lives as a freelance author with his family in Hamburg .
