Peter Tlach

Peter Tlach (born November 28, 1924 in Zurich ; † September 12, 2007 ; resident in St. Gallen ) was a Swiss business economist and university professor .

Life

Peter Tlach studied at the University of Bern , a. a. with Alfred Walther , and graduated in 1955 with a diploma and in 1958 with a doctorate. In 1960 he completed his habilitation in Bern and was appointed associate professor in 1963 and full professor of business administration in 1970 . In 1972/73 he was Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics. In 1990 Tlach retired . His successor in the chair was Norbert Thom .

His subject was leadership, which he interpreted in the humanities as a consideration of the behavior and thinking of people in companies.
