The Petit Auvignon is a river in France that runs through the Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. It rises on the northern outskirts of La Romieu , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and flows after 24 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saumont and Montagnac-sur-Auvignon as a right tributary into the Grand Auvignon, which from here on is simply called Auvignon . On its way, the Petit Auvignon crosses the Gers and Lot-et-Garonne departments .
