Petr Balcar (* 1985 ) is a Czech biathlete who has specialized in the sub-discipline of cross-country running - summer biathlon .

Petr Balcar won the silver medal behind the representatives from Russia in the mixed relay race with Barbora Tomešová , Pavla Matyášová and Luboš Schorný at the 2008 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Bansko . The following year he reached places 21 in the sprint and 23 in the pursuit in Nové Město na Moravě . He also achieved good results in the IBU Summer Cup 2009 . The Czech won the mass start races in Bystřice pod Hostýnem as well as in Predajná .
