Petr Grund (born September 29, 1970 ) is a former Czech football player. He was active in defense and played for FC Erzgebirge Aue in more than 100 games in the regional league and the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

For the 1999/2000 season he moved from FK Chmel Blšany in the Czech Republic to the German regional league club FC Erzgebirge Aue . In the Regionalliga Nordost he made his debut on September 25, 1999 in the game against EFC Stahl in the jersey of Erzgebirge Aue. He was substituted on by coach Gerd Schädlich in the 62nd minute for Marian Pagels . In his third competitive game for Erzgebirge Aue, he scored his first goal. In the 4-0 win, he scored the goal in the 60th minute to make it 3-0.

In the 2002/03 season he was able to win the championship in the Regionalliga Nord with the violets and thus he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga together with the club . For FC Erzgebirge Aue it was the first promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. On the first day of the 2003/04 season he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 1-0 defeat against SSV Jahn Regensburg , he was on the pitch for the entire season. He scored his first and only goal in the 2nd Bundesliga on December 5, 2003. During the game against MSV Duisburg , coach Gerd Schädlich came on as a substitute for Rüdiger Rehm in the 73rd minute and scored 2-2 in the 90th minute Compensation and final balance.

After he was only used eight times in the 2nd Bundesliga, he left FC Erzgebirge Aue for the 2004/05 season and joined FC Oberlausitz Neugersdorf , which played in the then fourth-class Oberliga Nordost . He made his debut for the new club on the first day of the season. In the 4-1 victory over VfB Pößneck , he was on the pitch for the entire season. He scored his first of two goals for the FCO on August 21, 2004. In the game against FV Dresden 06 Laubegast , he scored the 2-1 winner in the 74th minute.

After only one half series he left the club and joined league rivals VFC Plauen . He made his debut for the Plauener on January 30, 2005 when playing against FV Dresden 06 Laubegast . In this game he was used over the entire season. On March 20, 2005, he scored his first goal for VFC in a game against 1. FC Magdeburg . In the 14th minute scored the 1-0 winning goal. At the end of the season, VFC Plauen missed promotion to the Regionalliga Nord as second behind FC Carl Zeiss Jena . In the following season he was only used on the first day of play against 1. FC Magdeburg and then ended his career at the age of 35.
