Petra Katharina Wagner (* 1958 in Lindlar ; often Petra K. Wagner ) is a German author and director .

Live and act

Petra K. Wagner studied sociology and philosophy and has been working as an author of screenplays and short stories as well as a director and film critic since 1980 .

From 1990 Wagner directed various film events in the Berlin House of World Cultures . In 2001 she was on the jury of the regional competition of the 17th International Short Film Festival Berlin . She is one of the managing directors of the Berlin production company Moonfilm GmbH (formerly Indigo Film).

Wagner is the mother of actress Ada Philine Stappenbeck .
