Ada Philine Stappenbeck (born September 21, 1996 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Ada Philine Stappenbeck was born as the daughter of the author and director Petra Katharina Wagner and the film editor and producer Erik Stappenbeck. At the age of eight she was filmed with her twin sister for the production Gier nach Gold by Frank Castorf at the Volksbühne Berlin , the recordings were shown on stage. After graduating from high school , she began studying film studies at the Free University of Berlin .

In 2011 she was the German dubbing voice of Panda Cub in the animated film Kleiner starker Panda . In 2016 she attended the film acting for young talents course under the direction of Teresa Harder and a dance workshop as part of the dance theater project Die Berliner Luftbrücke under Robert Solomon. In 2017 she completed language training with Sabine Haupt , and in 2019 Acting in English at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art .

She was selected from 400 applicants for the role of Dianne for the film adaptation of the novel Die Mitte der Welt by director Jakob M. Erwa and, together with Svenja Jung, was nominated for the New German Cinema Award in the Drama category at the 2016 Munich Film Festival . Under the direction of her mother, she made the television films Far Too Close (2016) and Frankfurt, December 17 (2018). In Frankfurt, December 17 , she had a leading role as Sam at the side of Christoph Luser as Lennard.

In the episode Borowski and the dark network of the television series Tatort , she was seen as Julie Sternow in 2017. In 2018, she had episode roles in the episode Dark Waters of the ARD series Morden im Norden , in the episode All or Not at all of the ARD series In all friendship - The nurses and in the episode Mitten ins Herz of the ZDF series SOKO Hamburg . In the web series pressure she 2018/19 embodied the role of Linn Shira, in the movie Auer House of Neele Leana Vollmar she had in 2019 a major role as Pauline.
