The Catholic rectory in Bissingen , a market town in the district of Dillingen an der Donau in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , was built in 1684. The building at Premauerstraße 23 is a protected monument .

description

The rectory was built in 1684 according to plans by the builder Georg Danner . The two-storey gable roof building with a curved volute gable has three axes . The three-storey gable is divided by cornices . There is a surrounding eaves cornice on the lower gable floor . A double flight of stairs leads to the portal .

Coat of arms above the portal

Above the portal there is a coat of arms made of clay of Franz Anton von Schönau with the inscription “SJ Ritter in Ballo de Brandenburg et Comendator in Vilingen Ilingen et Tobel. 1736 ". The coat of arms reminds that the building was built as a German order house.

Coat of arms on the garden wall

On the garden wall are three coats of arms made of sandstone with the letters "GV DM D" from the 17th century. They are the coats of arms of Konrad von Bemelberg, Katharina von Helfenstein and Anna Maria von Stauffen.
