Rectory in Lutzingen

The Lutzingen rectory is located in Lutzingen , a municipality in the district of Dillingen on the Danube in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia . It was built in the second half of the 18th century. The former rectory is protected as a monument .

Opposite the choir of the Catholic parish church of St. Michael is the rectory, which was built in 1760. The plastered gabled house has five axes on its eaves . The gable side is divided horizontally on three levels by cornices . Above the arched door there is a transverse rectangular window with drawn-in semicircles and above it a shell niche with a drilled frame and limestone console . An angel from the end of the 17th century stands on it.

Inside there are still stucco ceilings and on the upper floor frame stucco with flowers and putti heads . The wooden staircase has twisted balusters and posts with carved fields and cheeks with shell carvings.

Personalities

The pastor and writer Martin Königsdorfer lived in this house from 1795 to 1835.
