Building description

The church is a small, late Gothic building that was changed in the middle of the 17th century. The building consists of a single nave nave and a retracted choir with a five-eighth end , which is supported by buttresses with single steps . The tower in the southern choir corner has ogival , tracery-subdivided sound windows and is crowned by a pointed helmet. The arched west portal is protected by an open vestibule.

The flat-roofed nave has ogival and rectangular windows. In the choir, a star-shaped vault rises on consoles. The narrow arched windows in the choir have been given a Baroque style and are decorated with figural, neo-Gothic glass paintings. A basket arch portal leads from the south wall of the choir into the sacristy on the tower ground floor.

The high altar, made around 1700, with a two-storey columned aedicula and acanthus leaves on the sides shows St. Vitus in the central image.

According to the dedication inscription on the Predella, the left side altar was donated in 1621 by Augustin Schütpacher zu Drauhofen . The Mannerist altar with blown gable depicts Maria Hilf in the main picture and Saint Chrysanthus in the upper picture .
