Restorations were carried out in 1933 and 1955.

architecture

The late baroque church building has a tower facade with a shallow central projection and a frame structure with a cranked cornice, has a tower from 1903 placed on an attic with round arched sound windows, clocks and a curved helmet with a lantern. In front of it are four stone figures of Saint Stephen, Sebastian, Rochus and Johannes Nepomuk from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century on pedestals, which were transferred here from the Johannes Nepomuk Chapel on the Schönbrunn line. There is also a stone figure of Margaret from the beginning of the 18th century in front of the portal. A plaque commemorating Franz Schubert's blessing shows a portrait relief by Robert Ullmann (1928).

Two cross-shaped domed room units with a semicircular apse and a semicircular closing entrance yoke form the interior of the church. Above the entrance yoke is an organ loft arched under a stitch cap with a laterally extended parapet. The walls are structured with pilasters, frame fields and a cranked cornice. The ceilings are hanging domes, the cross arms are barrel vaulted. Wall paintings Rupert with R. Sagmeister, Leopold, Clemens, Heiliger and Evangelisten are inscribed in the vaults. The dome tops show wreaths of rays. The glass windows from the beginning of the 20th century show figural representations of saints, in the apse ox eyes with flower vases in frames and on the gallery Cäcilia (1913).
