Franz Duschinger

Franz Duschinger (* 1739 in Vienna ; † December 23, 1789 there ) was an Austrian master builder .

Life

Nothing is known about the living conditions of Franz Duschinger, except that he was accepted into the builders' guild in 1773.

Despite the lack of news about him, he must have enjoyed a good reputation during his lifetime, otherwise he would not have been commissioned to build churches and palaces. In the spirit of Josephinism, his classicist buildings are characterized by simplicity and functionality. This also applies to the houses he built.
