Phillip "Phil" LaMarr (born January 24, 1967 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor and comedian.

Life

After minor roles, LaMarr had a first major appearance as Marvin in Pulp Fiction , where Vincent Vega ( John Travolta ) accidentally shot him in the face while driving over a bump in the car and his blood "messed up" the whole car.

He became better known through his appearance on MADtv , where he played various roles between 1995 and 2000.

In the video games " Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons of Liberty " and " Metal Gear Solid 4 - Guns of the Patriots " he gave "Vamp" his voice.

Otherwise, LaMarr can be heard as a voice actor in many animated TV series (e.g. Samurai Jack , Futurama , Kim Possible , Transformers: Animated , Family Guy and Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels ). In total, he was involved in more than 300 productions.
