Philip-Ludwig Wolfart (born July 18, 1775 in Hanau , † March 6, 1855 in Potsdam ) was a Prussian civil servant.

Live and act

Wolfart entered the government service in the Hohenzollern principality of Ansbach in 1797 . In 1800 he became a government assessor . Between 1803 and 1806 he served in the government in the Napoleonic Duchy of Warsaw . Subsequently, after stays in Hanau and Berlin, in 1809 he became a member of the government in Potsdam . In the years 1811/12 he was a laborer in the ministerial department for taxes. Then from 1813 to 1815 legal advisor of the Immediat Catering Commission. In 1815 Wolfart became a secret senior tax advisor in the Ministry of Finance . From 1817 he was a lecturer in the Treasury . In 1824 he moved to the Ministry of Culture in the role of legal advisor . In 1825 Wolfart was appointed director of remnants management in the Ministry of Finance and, in this capacity, was appointed to the Real Secret Upper Finance Council. During his time in the ministerial administration, Wolfart was not infrequently attending meetings of the State Ministry .

In 1831 Wolfart took over the position of regional president in Arnsberg . From 1836 he was department director in the Ministry of the Royal House . In 1839 Wolfart resigned from civil service, initially on vacation. In 1848 he was finally discharged and entitled to a pension.
