Philipp Fahrbach the Younger
Philipp Fahrbach the Younger (born December 16, 1843 in Vienna ; † February 15, 1894 there ) was an Austrian violinist and Kapellmeister . The son of Philipp Fahrbach the Elder succeeded his father in 1855 as director of the band with which he celebrated great triumphs at the Paris World Exhibition in 1878 . He was considered a competitor to Johann Strauss' son .
