The Vadsø Airport is an airport in Norway and is located 3.7 km east of the center of Vadsø . It is located directly on the E 75 on the north coast of the Varangerfjord .

Vadsø Airport opened in 1974. The terminal building was built in 1988.

An extension of the runway to 1200 m is currently being considered.

From Vadsø there are machines to Alta , Berlevåg , Båtsfjord , Hammerfest , Hasvik , Honningsvåg , Kirkenes , Mehamn , Sørkjosen , Tromsø and Vardø . The connections are flown by the airline Widerøe with the aircraft type De Havilland DHC-8 .
