The Kirkenes-Høybuktmoen Airport is an airport in Norway and about is located ten kilometers west of the center of Kirkenes .

A second runway (15/33), around 1200 meters long, which was planned in the military planning of the airport, has been laid out, but is currently not paved and is currently not in use.

history

During the Second World War , the German Air Force built the airport with two star-shaped runways (1000 m and 1200 m).
