The Kristiansund Airport ( norw. Kristiansund lufthavn, Kvernberget ) is a Norwegian airport 7 kilometers west of Kristiansund . In 2016 the airport had around 300,000 passengers.

history

The airport opened in 1970 and serves as one of the main take-off points for offshore traffic to the oil platforms in Norway. The majority of the flights are to national destinations; Internationally, Chania and Split are served seasonally in charter traffic .
