The mosjøen airport ( Norwegian lufthavn Mosjøen, Kjærstad ) is a North Norwegian airport .

It is located in the province of Nordland in Helgeland on the territory of the municipality of Vefsn , around six kilometers south of the small town of Mosjøen .

The airport is operated by the Norwegian state - owned company Avinor .

The airport is only served by the Norwegian regional airline Widerøe (as of September 2013). There are direct scheduled flight connections to Bodø , Mo i Rana , Namsos , Sandnessjøen and Trondheim .
