The Mehamn airport ( Norwegian lufthavn Mehamn ) is a North Norwegian airport in the province of Troms og Finnmark .

It is located on the coast of the Barents Sea , around one kilometer southwest of the town of Mehamn , which belongs to the municipality of Gamvik, and is the northernmost airport on the Scandinavian mainland.

The airport is operated by the Norwegian state - owned company Avinor .

The airport is only served by the Norwegian regional airline Widerøe (as of September 2013). There are direct flight connections to Alta , Berlevåg , Båtsfjord , Hammerfest , Honningsvåg , Kirkenes , Sørkjosen , Tromsø and Vadsø .
