Philipp Jakob Flathe

Philipp Jakob Flathe (* 1735 ; † 1810 ) was a German Romanist , Italianist, grammarian and lexicographer.

life and work

Flathe was a lecturer at the University of Leipzig . He published grammars of Italian and extensive bilingual dictionaries Italian-German, German-Italian, as well as French-German, German-French.
