Philipp Löpfe

Philipp Löpfe (born July 12, 1953 ) is a Swiss business journalist , author and publicist .

biography

After graduating from the Sargans Cantonal School , Löpfe studied English and ethnology at the University of Zurich , where he graduated in 1981 with a licentiate . He attended the Ringier School of Journalism . In 1992 he obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen .

Löpfe deals with economic issues and politics. From 1988 to 1990 he was editor-in-chief of SonntagsBlicks , from 1991 to 1998 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the business newspaper Cash and from 1999 to 2002 editor-in-chief of Tages-Anzeiger . From 2006 he worked for the news magazine Facts . He has been working as a business journalist for the online news platform watson.ch since 2014 .

Philipp Löpfe is the brother of the journalist Koni Loepfe .
