Philipp Osthus

Philipp Osthus (born September 11, 1975 in Stade ) is a German director and screenwriter .

biography

After his community service he attended the Hanseatic Academy for Audiovisual Media. In 1998 he began studying at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts , in 2003 he received his diploma (visual communication), theoretical work - acting direction in film and television.

In 2004 he was a directing student at the Hamburg Media School . In the period up to his graduation in 2006, the short films Heul noch und Homerun ("best director" at the International College Peace Film Festival Seoul, Korea) were made. Philipp Osthus completed his directing studies in November 2006 with a diploma and the graduation film Der Mungo .
