Philippe Collet
Philippe Collet (born December 13, 1963 in Nancy ) is a former French pole vaulter .
In 1985 he won silver at the Universiade and in 1986 bronze at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Madrid and the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart .
In 1987 he was fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Liévin , but retired from the World Athletics Championships in Rome without a valid attempt. The following year he was each fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Budapest and the Olympic Games in Seoul .
After a fourth place at the European Championships in 1990 in Split, he qualified at the 1991 World Cup in Tokyo for the final, in which, however, he failed a valid attempt.
At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was seventh and fourth at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 .
He was national champion five times outdoors (1985, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992) and three times indoors (1986, 1988, 1991).
