Philippe Ranaivomanana (born May 12, 1949 in Sarobatra ) is Bishop of Antsirabé .

Life

Philippe Ranaivomanana was ordained a priest on October 16, 1977 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ihosy on January 2, 1999 .

He was ordained episcopal on May 13th of the same year by the Archbishop of Fianarantsoa , Philibert Randriambololona SJ ; Co- consecrators were Félix Ramananarivo MS , Bishop of Antsirabé , and Fulgence Rabeony SJ, Bishop of Toliara .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 13, 2009 Bishop of Antsirabé.
