Pia Koch (* 1991 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

Pia Koch was born in Hamburg and began acting in the theater as a child. In 2005 she stood in front of the camera for the first time for the short film " Nothing more than ", which was shown at the Berlinale . Other roles followed, including in the television film " Der Seehund von Sanderoog " and " Die Pfefferkörner ", directed by Klaus Wirbitzky .

In addition to her Abitur, Pia Koch completed her singing and music training at the State Youth Music School in Hamburg . She began taking acting, phonetics and speaking lessons from Michael Walz and Kerstin Hilbig .

Pia Koch had her first film role in 2013 in the film Rockabilly Requiem , directed by Till Müller-Edenborn, which premiered at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival . In the same year Pia Koch shot the film " Bloß kein 'Stress " under the direction of Lars Jessen , where she starred alongside Katharina Wackernagel and Fritz Karl in the role of Michelle .

In St. Pölten she was on stage for the youth musical " A day in the park ". The following year, back in her home town of Hamburg, she played the leading role Anne-May in the play " Fast Genial " at the Altona Theater , which in 2015 received the Rolf Mares Prize in the category " Outstanding Staging ".

In 2016, Pia Koch was seen as a witness in the series Morden im Norden and in the same year played the main role of Celina Berendson  in the series Notruf Hafenkante .

In 2018 Pia Koch completed her acting training at the Fritz Kirchhoff School , she also works as a speaker and lives in Berlin . Since 2019 she has been a permanent member of the Naumburg City Theater .
