Pia Wieteck (born May 20, 1965 ) is a German nursing scientist .

At the beginning of her professional career, Pia Wieteck completed her nursing training at the Ingolstadt Clinic . After five years of professional experience in various fields, she completed her training as a teacher for nursing professions at the Catholic Academy for Nursing Professions in Regensburg in 1990 . First, she gained professional experience as a teacher at the Medical School Center of the Ingolstadt Clinic and in the Weissenau State Psychiatric Hospital . From 1995 to 1998 she was the head of the nursing school at the Rinteln District Hospital.

Pia Wieteck completed her studies in nursing science in 2001 at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt . From 2003 to 2007 she did her doctorate at the University of Witten-Herdecke .

Since 1989, Pia Wieteck has accompanied and managed the development of European Nursing Care Pathways (ENP), a care classification system consisting of care diagnoses, goals and measures for the IT-supported documentation of the care process . She later continued the project as head of the ENP development team. It is also for the translation of the nursing diagnoses of NANDA International co-responsible in the German language.

  • Quality improvement through personnel development , nursing rounds , hermeneutic casework in the elderly care area and implementation of the nursing process
