Piergiorgio Debernardi

Piergiorgio Debernardi (born March 31, 1940 in Feletto , Province of Turin , Italy ) is Bishop Emeritus of Pinerolo .

Life

Piergiorgio Debernardi received on 27 June 1965, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 7, 1998, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Pinerolo. The bishop of Ivrea , Luigi Bettazzi , ordained him episcopal on September 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Alessandria , Fernando Charrier , and the Bishop Emeritus of Pinerolo, Pietro Giachetti . The inauguration took place on November 8, 1998.

On July 7, 2017, Pope Francis accepted Piergiorgio Debernardi's resignation due to reasons of age.
