Pierre Malet (born September 3, 1955 in Bayonne , Aquitaine , France ) is a French actor.

Life

Pierre Malet is the twin brother of the better-known actor Laurent Malet . Both played mini-roles as a pair of brothers in José Giovanni's Comme un boomerang . After a major supporting role in the television film Kakemono hôtel (1978), Pierre Malet had his most important role in 1980 in the four-part television series Fantômas . Directed by Claude Chabrol and Juan Luis Bunuel, he hunts the criminal Fantômas, played by Helmut Berger, as Fandor together with Jacques Dufilho . After a leading role alongside Michel Piccoli in the television film Confusion of Emotions (1981), Ettore Scola gave him the larger supporting role of a revolutionary student in Flucht nach Varennes (1982). In Germany in 1990 he starred alongside Iris Berben in a leading role in Carlo Rola's The Secret of the Yellow Cheetah . From 1997 to 1999 he played alongside Roger Hanin in the television series Maître Da Costa . In 2010 he returned to the big screen in the film Streamfield, les carnets noirs .
