Pierre Nommesch (born December 16, 1864 in Greiweldingen ; † October 9, 1935 in Luxembourg ) was Luxembourg bishop from 1920 to 1935.

Life

At the age of 26 he was ordained a priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on October 28, 1890 . He was appointed Bishop of Luxembourg on March 8, 1920 and consecrated by Sebastiano Nicotra on March 25, 1920 . He held his office until his death.

He was buried in the then newly built crypt of Notre-Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg , where his grave slab in front of the main altar is set in the floor.
