Pietro Gabrielli
Pietro Gabrielli SDB (born March 17, 1931 in Pove del Grappa ) is emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Méndez .
Life
Pietro Gabrielli joined the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1962 . On July 1, 1993, John Paul II appointed him Vicar Apostolic of Méndez and Titular Bishop of Taparura .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador , Francesco Canalini , consecrated him bishop on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Teodoro Luis Arroyo Robelly SDB, Vicar Emeritus of Méndez, and Frumencio Escudero Arenas , Vicar Apostolic of Puyo .
On April 15, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
