Pirada is a small town in northeast Guinea-Bissau with 2512 inhabitants (as of 2009).
The place is the seat of the administrative sector of the same name with an area of 934 km² and 29,837 inhabitants (2007).
Pirada is on the border with Senegal . The place is characterized in particular by the colorful street stalls, mostly small retailers, inspired by trade with the neighboring country.

The main town Pirada is divided into two, with four subdivisions, districts ( Bairros ).
The Pirada sector comprises a total of 122 localities. The most important are:

- Bajocunda (483 inhabitants)
- Bassecunda (675 inhabitants)
- Canjufa (1020 inhabitants in two districts)
- Darsalame (796 inhabitants)

A dirt road leads from Diaobé-Kabendou on the N 6 national road in Senegal via a border crossing to Pirada and on to the regional capital Gabú in the south; there is also a junction to Bajucunda in the eastern neighboring sector of Pitche .
Pirada has an airfield with the ICAO code GGPR.
