Pishchanka (Ukrainian Піщанка ; Russian Песчанка / Pestschanka ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 5400 inhabitants (2004).
The village was founded in 1740 bordered on the north of the urban area of Krasnohrad and is the administrative center of the same name, 88.535 km² District Municipality in Rajon Krasnohrad to still the village Nowoseliwka ( Новоселівка ⊙ ) with about 20 inhabitants and the settlement Pokrovske ( Покровське ⊙ ) with about 300 inhabitants.
Pishchanka is located on the M 18 trunk road and the P-11 regional road . The Kharkiv Oblast Center is located 100 km northeast of Pishchanka.
