Pisse is a German-speaking punk band that was founded in 2012 in Hoyerswerda . She is known throughout Germany within the punk scene and appears nationwide, z. B. in Wuppertal, Karlsruhe , Munich and Zurich .

Although piss, in contrast to other bands, has little internet presence and is generally rather rare, it enjoys great popularity. Some of their publications are out of print and difficult to find. Piss is in the book "Damaged Goods. 150 entries in punk history ”(Ventil Verlag, publisher: Jonas Engelmann ), mentioned.

style

Musically, the band expresses itself through a rough, characteristic singing, fast tempo and the use of the synthesizer and the theremin . In terms of content, everyday situations are primarily taken up and placed in a humorous context, but with a tendency towards madness and depression .

Jens Uthoff from the taz counts it among the post-punk renaissance in Germany, which picks up on this genre of music from the 1980s. Together with Puff! Piss is rated as "snottier" and "sarcastic" than other such bands and compared to the band Die Goldenen Zitronen .
