action
Andre Siegel was a soldier in the Foreign Legion . After his unit was almost completely wiped out in West Africa in 1992 , he tries a fresh start in Los Angeles . He works under gang boss Junior Lopez as a bouncer in his nightclub. His boss is the giant Rex, who also gives him important tips for the job. In the nightclub he meets the adorable Janie, with whom he falls in love. But the relationship fails. Janie hooks up with Junior, who promises her to promote her career as an actress. But Junior only plays with her.
Andre vacillates between loyalty to his boss and love for Janie. When he is seriously injured in an attack by a rival gang, he rises in the favor of Junior. After his recovery he does some illegal jobs for Junior, but is constantly confronted with his ex-girlfriend. When Janie is beaten up by Junior in his presence, he gets violent and loses his position as a bouncer. Rex then found him a new job. By chance he overhears Junior sending Janie to buy. He tries to save her, but her suitor throws her seriously injured out of the car beforehand.
Andre takes care of her and plans an act of revenge. When he tries to storm Junior's house, he is captured. However, he can free himself and steal his Uzi from one of the guards . He shoots all of Junior's followers. When it is Junior's turn, however, the ammunition is used up. Junior pulls up an AK-47 and shoots Andre. Then he stabs him with his switchblade .
A day later, Janie returns to her mother. Junior is shot dead outside his night club. The last scene shows a seriously injured, but living Andre in the hospital.
