Pittermann is a village with 657 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the municipality of Wenigzell in Styria .

The vast locality extends from the main town of the municipality, the village of Wenigzell, far to the south and consists of numerous localities, of which Wenigzell is the largest. Other locations are in Büchl , In Reith , Schöngrund and Walddörfl as well as several individual locations. The cadastral community in which the village is located is called Pittermannviertl . Originally settled with settlers from the Swabian region , other settlers soon moved from the Pitten area, which is reflected in the local namesake.
